PCA conducted a residential property condition evaluation of Forbes Mansion at 215 Adams Street in Milton, Massachusetts. The single-family residence totals approximately 23,475 square feet across three stories on a 26.87-acre site. The original structure was built between 1914 and 1916, with renovations completed in approximately 2003.
The engagement included architectural, structural, and mechanical/electrical/plumbing/limited fire- and life-safety assessments. PCA’s team observed and documented existing conditions across the building envelope, interior architectural elements, structural components, and major building systems. Given the age of the original construction and the scope of the early-2000s renovations, the structural and architectural reviews addressed both legacy assemblies and updated work. Findings were consolidated into a deliverable identifying immediate repair priorities and longer-term capital considerations for the client’s decision-making.
